Smart Board

I have used a smart board before and I love it. I think it is a great way to involve and interest the students. I have seen news website showing teachers using thier smart boards and it makes hands on learning really fun. I hope I have the opportunity to use this technology.

Internet Safety

I think it is really important to have internet safety and I am glad we are going over this in class. I didn't learn internet safety until high school, but I am glad we will be teaching this in elementary school.

Picasa

I love Picasa! I've always wanted to learn photoshop, but haven't found the time to learn everything. Picasa is easy to use and a lot of fun! I really enjoy working with this program.

Digital Photography

I love photography, but it never occurred to me how I could use this medium in the classroom. Photographs and photography programs such as Picasa can help students visualize and experiment.
